Scott Curts is a live looping singer-songwriter, guitarist, and producer who turns a single stage into a full-band experience—built completely live, in the moment. No backing tracks. No pre-recorded shortcuts. Just guitar, vocals, beatboxing, and looping layered in real time to create music that feels big, alive, and deeply human.
Scott’s musical journey began at five years old and later took him to Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he studied jazz and sharpened the musicianship that now fuels his signature sound. After graduating, he dove into a professional career as a guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter—learning how to read a room, shape a vibe, and keep people fully engaged.
For the past 35 years, Scott has performed full-time across the southwest coast of Florida, bringing a level of consistency, professionalism, and experience that only comes from thousands of live shows. His performances move effortlessly across styles—everything from smooth jazz and classic instrumentals to Soul, R&B, Island music, Reggae, Pop, Folk Pop, and more—always guided by the moment and the audience in front of him.
Scott’s musical influences reflect that wide musical spectrum. Throughout his career, he’s drawn inspiration from Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, George Benson, Wes Montgomery, John Scofield, Van Halen (from his youth), James Taylor, Bob Marley, Otis Redding, Jimmy Cliff, The Police, Sting, Santana, John Mayer, Dave Matthews, Jason Mraz, Ed Sheeran, Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, Paul Simon, and many more. That mix of groove, melody, soul, and guitar-forward artistry naturally evolved into his unique live looping style—where every layer serves the song and the room, not the gimmick.
Alongside performing, Scott continues to write and record original music. His release In My World showcases his range as an artist and the start of a new chapter—one he fully brought to life by performing, producing, mixing, editing, and mastering every track himself. As Scott says, “It was just time to unveil a part of myself that I always wanted to pursue but never did.” The title track reflects how he sees life: staying open to what’s possible—and choosing happiness along the way.
As Scott continues to evolve, he stays busy performing year-round and developing future projects—including a book exploring his looping technique and creative process. Here his album here: Spotify
